- Authors of accepted abstracts and clinical cases must register for the congress to ensure publication and presentation.
- All expenses related to the submission and presentation are the responsibility of the presenter.
- A presenting author should not be an employee of a for-profit organisation.
- All presenters must agree to the ESC's terms and conditions, including compliance with the ESC Industry Relations policy and Disclosure of Interest.
- Each abstract/clinical case submission must contain new and unpublished data.
- Abstracts and clinical cases should be based on scientific methods and ethical practices.
- All authors must provide their specific contributions to the research.
- Submitting an abstract implies consent to publication in all ESC publications, including the European Heart Journal and the congress website.
- Submission requires agreement to present the abstract if selected.
- Submitted material cannot be modified or corrected after the submission deadline.

CME accreditation
