Welcome to the 3D Websites Hackathon, a competition centered on creativity, aesthetics, and building unforgettable web experiences. Participants are challenged to create the most visually stunning, immersive, and imaginative 3D website possible, with no restrictions on theme, industry, or purpose. Projects could range from a futuristic city or digital art gallery to an interactive story, sci-fi experience, fantasy world, product showcase, or game-like website. This hackathon differentiates itself by focusing on generating wonder rather than solving problems. The primary goal is to create projects that captivate users and elicit a "Wow" reaction. It is beginner-friendly and open to anyone interested in web design, 3D graphics, digital art, UI/UX, creative coding, and interactive experiences. Participants have significant creative freedom, with permission to use AI tools, online assets, open-source libraries, and various technologies like Three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, WebGL, WebGPU, Spline, and Blender. Tutorials and learning resources are also permitted. The judging criteria prioritize creativity, aesthetics, and overall user experience, making technical complexity optional. A beautiful and creative project is valued over a highly technical one.
