Overview

The 3rd-Web-Hack is a problem-solving hackathon organized by TechZap Club, focusing on identifying and developing innovative solutions to current unsolved challenges within the Blockchain and Web3 ecosystems. The event encourages participants to bring forward bold ideas, challenge existing limitations, and construct decentralized solutions that can generate significant impact across various domains, including finance, identity, security, governance, and gaming. This hackathon is open to students worldwide, with an exclusion for companies and professional organizations. Participants are required to be above the legal age of majority in their country of residence. The event offers an opportunity to engage with cutting-edge blockchain technologies and contribute to the advancement of decentralized applications. Submissions must include a clear problem statement, an explanation of the proposed Blockchain/Web3-based solution, a working prototype or functional demo, and details about the technology stack used. A GitHub repository with source code, a short demo video, and a pitch deck covering the problem, solution, innovation, impact, and future scope are also required. Prize money totaling $750 in cryptocurrency (USDT) will be awarded to the top three solutions, with specific amounts for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Projects will be judged on innovation, technical feasibility, uniqueness, and design. The submission deadline is September 27, 2026, at 12:30 PM IST.

Eligibility
