Overview
Brewing Codes 4.0 is a national 24-hour hackathon presented by Maharishi School of Engineering & Technology (MSoET), Maharishi University of Information Technology (MUIT), Noida in collaboration with IQAC and in association with upGrad, ICC, MIIF & Samatrix. It is designed to bring together innovators, developers, and problem-solvers from across the country. The hackathon features six tracks: AI in Healthcare & Digital Well-Being, Agentic AI & Autonomous Systems, Cybersecurity, Digital Privacy & Trust, Sustainable Technology & Circular Economy, Smart Cities & Urban Innovation, and Low Code / No Code Platforms for Rapid Application Development. Participants will choose one of these tracks to develop their solutions. The event spans two rounds. Round 1 involves 6 hours of development and presentation, with qualifying teams advancing to Round 2. Round 2 allows for an overnight stay to refine projects, culminating in final evaluations. The hackathon provides infrastructure, technical support, logistics, hospitality, and additional benefits such as media coverage for winners and participation certificates for all.
What to build
Participants must build a project related to one of the following tracks: AI in Healthcare & Digital Well-Being, Agentic AI & Autonomous Systems, Cybersecurity, Digital Privacy & Trust, Sustainable Technology & Circular Economy, Smart Cities & Urban Innovation, or Low Code / No Code Platforms for Rapid Application Development. The project development occurs over a 24-hour period, refined through two rounds.

Eligibility
Participants must be above the legal age of majority in their country of residence and currently enrolled as college students. Teams are required, consisting of 2 to 4 members. The hackathon is open to participants from all countries/territories, excluding standard exceptions.
How to enter
- Form a team of 2 to 4 members.
- Register for the hackathon via the provided registration link: https://forms.gle/a9X1pT8VQq7MCHda7.
- Develop a solution based on one of the six specified tracks.
- Submit a PowerPoint Presentation (maximum 5 slides) for Round 1.
- Qualifying teams will proceed to Round 2 to refine and finalize their projects.
Submission requirements
- Teams must submit a PowerPoint Presentation (Maximum 5 slides) for Round 1.
- The presentation must include: Team Name, Leader & Members, Institution Name, Problem Statement & Idea Description, Solution, Prototype, & Technology Used, Use Cases & Applicability.
Judging criteria
- Teams will be evaluated based on predefined rubrics in both Round 1 and Round 2.
