BunnieX Hackathon

Overview

The BunnieX Hackathon is an AI innovation challenge organized by the TechieBunnies team, inviting students, developers, designers, and technology enthusiasts to create impactful solutions using Artificial Intelligence. The hackathon focuses on real-world problem-solving across various domains, including Generative AI, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, healthcare, education, sustainability, fintech, and productivity. Participants are encouraged to transform their ideas into working prototypes and leverage modern AI technologies. Participants can build a wide range of AI-powered solutions, such as web or mobile applications, intelligent assistants, chatbots, tools for healthcare and education, productivity and automation tools, or projects addressing sustainability and social impact. The goal is to develop solutions that demonstrate creativity, technical implementation, and potential real-world impact. The hackathon provides an opportunity for collaboration and innovation within the AI space. Submissions must clearly demonstrate the idea, implementation, and impact of the project. Required components include a project title and description, a problem statement explaining the real-world issue addressed, a description of the solution and its key features, and a list of the technology stack used. A working demo link or video and a link to the GitHub repository with the complete source code are also mandatory. Judging criteria will assess the innovation, technical implementation, and potential impact of each project. Prizes for the top two teams include complimentary access to a premium Stock Market & Investing course and $300 worth of Featherless AI credits. The hackathon is open to students who are above the legal age of majority in their country of residence, excluding companies and professional organizations.

What to build

This can include: - AI-powered web or mobile applications - Intelligent assistants and chatbots - Healthcare and education solutions - Productivity and automation tools - Sustainability and social impact projects - Developer tools powered by AI - Generative AI applications (AI assistants, content generation, RAG systems) - Computer Vision solutions (image/video analysis, detection, recognition) - NLP applications (intelligent search, text analysis, translation, summarization) - Solutions that improve accessibility, learning, or well-being - Technology-driven solutions for environmental or social challenges - Tools that automate workflows or make everyday tasks smarter - Coding assistants, debugging tools, testing solutions, and more - Any original AI idea that is useful, innovative, technically sound, and creates real-world impact.

Eligibility

Participants must be above the legal age of majority in their country of residence. Companies/professional organizations are excluded from participation. All countries/territories are eligible, excluding standard exceptions.

How to enter

1. Build an AI-powered solution that addresses a real-world problem and demonstrates meaningful use of Artificial Intelligence.
2. Submit your project via Devpost by the deadline.

Submission requirements

• Project Title & Description: A clear overview of what was built and the problem being solved.
• Problem Statement: Explain the real-world problem your project addresses and why it matters.
• Solution & Features: Describe your approach, key features, and how AI is used.
• Technology Stack: Mention the AI models, APIs, frameworks, libraries, and other technologies used.
• Demo: Provide a working demo link, deployed application, or video demonstrating your project.
• Source Code: Submit a link to your GitHub repository with the complete project code.
• Impact & Future Scope: Explain the potential impact of your solution and how it could be developed further.
• Clearly demonstrate your idea, implementation, and impact.
