CodeSprint by Elite Coders is a month-long open-source building challenge designed for students, developers, designers, and builders. Participants are tasked with transforming an initial idea into a functional Minimum Viable Product (MVP). The competition emphasizes public building and open-sourcing projects, fostering a collaborative and transparent development environment. Unlike traditional short-duration hackathons, CodeSprint provides a full month for participants to build, iterate, deploy, and open-source their projects. This extended timeframe allows for more in-depth development and refinement. Throughout the build phase, selected teams will also receive mentorship and guidance to help them navigate their project development. After the online build phase, projects undergo an evaluation process. Shortlisted teams are then invited to a final pitching event held offline in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. During this event, finalists will present their projects, demonstrate their MVPs, and articulate their vision to a panel of judges. CodeSprint offers a total cash prize pool of ₹30,000, distributed among the top three teams. Additionally, several special awards are available for various achievements, such as Best UI/UX, Best Social Welfare Project, and Best Open Source Project. All members of winning teams will receive rewards.
Participants are required to turn an idea into a working Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and open-source their project. The project should start with a problem worth solving.
Participants must be above the legal age of majority in their country of residence. Only students are eligible. Companies and professional organizations are excluded from participation. The competition is open to all countries/territories, with standard exceptions.
