To participate, teams must submit an original technology project with a clear sustainability goal and a working prototype. The project submission on Devpost must include a project story, all team members, a demo video or walkthrough, and source code or clear build instructions. Additionally, participants need to explain the problem addressed, intended users, approach, expected environmental benefit, tools used, and any limitations, using data and examples they have permission to share.
Build an original technology project with a clear sustainability goal and a working prototype. The project should make sustainable choices easier, clearer, and more scalable. Examples include solutions to reduce waste, conserve energy or water, choose lower-impact options, repair and reuse materials, understand climate information, or support healthier local systems. Focus areas can include energy, waste, water, food, transportation, materials, ecosystems, or climate resilience. The solution should start with a real behavior or system and demonstrate how it moves forward.
