Hack The Limit is an online hackathon designed for individuals to take an idea from conception to a tangible product. Participants have several weeks to develop a project in an open-ended environment, without thematic restrictions. The event emphasizes hands-on building and provides a supportive community. The challenge is open to anyone curious to try, from first-timers to experienced hackers, with no prior experience required. Participants can choose to work individually or as part of a team, both paths being equally valid towards the finish line. The goal is to encourage learning through shipping real projects. The hackathon does not impose a specific theme or strict guidelines on what constitutes a 'good' project. Instead, it offers a wide-open canvas for participants to create anything from web apps, mobile apps, AI tools, and games to productivity tools or unique experiments. The focus is on empowering builders to bring their creative ideas to life. Beyond the opportunity to build and ship, participants will gain practical experience, engage with a supportive community, receive mentorship when encountering challenges, and compete for bragging rights and prizes awarded to outstanding projects.
Participants are encouraged to build anything they can imagine, with no restrictions on the type of project. Examples include web applications, mobile applications, AI tools, games, productivity tools, or any other creative idea.
Participants must be above the legal age of majority in their country of residence and must be students. Companies and professional organizations are excluded from participation. The hackathon is open to participants from all countries/territories, excluding standard exceptions. Please view the full rules for detailed restrictions.
