HackWithAditya 2026 is a national-level 48-hour residential hackathon organized by Aditya University in Andhra Pradesh, in association with Oracle Academy and in collaboration with OpenAI Student Collective. This event is designed for student innovators, developers, and technology enthusiasts from across India, bringing them together to evolve existing prototypes into impactful, real-world solutions. Unlike traditional hackathons, HackWithAditya adopts a prototype-first approach. Participants are required to bring an existing working prototype, which must qualify through an online screening process. Successful teams will then be invited to an intensive 48-hour build phase at Aditya University, where they will tackle new engineering challenges. The competition offers a total prize pool of ₹500,000 in cash. Participation involves two levels: Level 1 is a free online prototype screening, requiring teams of 4-6 members to submit their working prototype. Shortlisted teams proceed to Level 2, the 48-hour enhancement challenge, for which there is a fee of ₹800 per member covering on-campus accommodation, meals, and other essentials. The hackathon aims to foster innovation, collaboration, and the development of technical skills among students. It provides an opportunity for participants to enhance their projects, interact with peers, and present their engineering prowess to a technical jury, with various prize categories recognizing different aspects of innovation and execution.
Participants must bring an existing working prototype and enhance it during the 48-hour on-site challenge by tackling new technical enhancement challenges.
Participants must be above the legal age of majority in their country of residence. Only students are eligible to participate. Companies and professional organizations are excluded. Participation may be restricted to specific countries/territories.
