What to build

Participants are encouraged to develop innovative solutions under one of the official themes: AI & Intelligent Systems, AI for Social Impact, Smart Cities & Sustainability, Cybersecurity & Digital Trust, Emerging Technologies, or Open Innovation.

Eligibility

Participants must be above the legal age of majority in their country of residence and currently enrolled as students. Teams are required, consisting of 2 to 4 members. Companies and professional organizations are excluded from participation. All countries and territories are eligible, with the exception of standard restricted regions.

How to enter

1. Join the hackathon by registering on the Devpost page.
2. Develop an innovative solution under one of the official themes.
3. Submit your project by the deadline, including all required components.

Judging criteria

• Innovation & Creativity: Evaluate the originality, uniqueness, and creativity of the proposed solution.
• Technical Excellence: Assess the quality of implementation, technical complexity, architecture, and engineering practices.
• Impact & Relevance: Measure the potential impact of the solution and its ability to address real-world challenges.
• User Experience & Design: Evaluate usability, accessibility, interface design, and overall user experience.
• Scalability & Feasibility: Assess the practicality, sustainability, and potential for future growth and adoption.
• Presentation Quality: Evaluate the clarity of communication, demonstration quality, documentation, and project presentation.
