The 30th Busan International Textile Design Competition is an open-themed contest seeking innovative textile designs from high school students and older. Participants are encouraged to explore diverse creative concepts within the textile domain without specific thematic restrictions, allowing for a broad range of artistic interpretations and technical approaches. This competition aims to foster creativity and recognize talent in textile design. It provides a platform for designers to showcase their skills and contribute to the textile industry, highlighting new trends and artistic expressions. The competition emphasizes the submission of high-quality digital textile designs. It serves as a significant event for emerging and established designers to gain recognition and monetary awards, with a total prize pool of KRW 7,300,000.
Participants must create an original textile design based on an open theme.
Open to all applicants who are high school students or older. This includes high school students, bachelor's degree students, master's degree students, and PhD candidates. The competition is open worldwide.
