Overview
The Lascaux Prize in Short Fiction is an annual contest run by The Lascaux Review, an online literary journal. The winning story receives a $1,000 cash prize, a bronze medallion, and publication in The Lascaux Review, and all entries submitted to the contest are automatically considered for publication in the journal regardless of placement. Submissions may be previously published or unpublished, simultaneous submissions are accepted, and stories may run up to 10,000 words. All genres and styles of short fiction are welcome, and writers may submit more than one entry (each subject to the entry fee). Entries are judged by the journal's editors, and writers retain all rights to their work at all times. Eligibility
