The WomenLift Health Eastern Africa Leadership Journey 2027 is a fully funded, 12-month program designed for women leaders in the health sector. The program aims to create a supportive environment where participants can explore their authentic leadership styles through vulnerability and reflection. It emphasizes building an inclusive and diverse network that fosters a strong sense of belonging among participants. Throughout the journey, participants receive tools and strategies to enhance their voice, presence, and influence within the health sector. They are supported by a community of peers, mentors, and coaches, and engage with contextualized tools and frameworks to address individual, institutional, and health sector challenges faced by women leaders in global health today. The program includes two in-person experiential learning residencies: an Immersion and a Lift-Off. In addition to these residencies, the journey incorporates virtual learning touchpoints, virtual group mentoring, and virtual one-on-one coaching sessions. A significant component of the program is a self-directed Health Leadership Project, where participants apply their learning with support from their Leadership Journey community and health sector experts. All program costs, including travel and lodging for the in-person residencies, are fully covered for selected participants. This commitment ensures accessibility for eligible women leaders across the specified Eastern African countries.
