Entry requirements
Current Texas A&M StudentMust be a current student in the relevant undergraduate program (BSPH, BS Interdisciplinary Engineering, or BS Industrial Engineering).
Undergraduate ProgressOn track to complete all required undergraduate courses through the junior year by the program start date.
Minimum GPA (BSPH/MPH)Epidemiology & Health Policy & Management: 3.5 GPA; Health Behavior: 3.25 GPA; Occupational Safety & Health: 3.0 GPA.
Minimum GPA (Engineering/MPH)Specific GPA requirements for the engineering tracks should be confirmed with an academic advisor.
Applicants must apply to the MPH program during their junior year. An approved 'Certification for 3+2 Eligibility Form' from the School of Public Health Office of Student Services is required for the BSPH/MPH track. For engineering tracks, approval from the College of Engineering academic advisor is necessary before submitting the MPH application.

How to apply
1. Consult Academic AdvisorAs a freshman or sophomore, discuss your interest in the 3+2 program with your academic advisor to ensure you meet course and GPA requirements.
2. Obtain Eligibility CertificationDuring your junior year, submit the 'Certification for 3+2 Eligibility Form' to the School of Public Health Office of Student Services (Dr. Don Curtis) for approval (for BSPH/MPH track). For engineering tracks, secure approval from your College of Engineering academic advisor.
3. Complete SOPHAS Express ApplicationSubmit the online application via SOPHAS Express by the posted deadline. You may only apply to one MPH concentration.
4. Submit Supporting DocumentsAlong with the SOPHAS Express application, upload unofficial transcripts from all attended institutions, a Statement of Purpose and Objectives, and a current Resume or CV. For the BSPH/MPH track, two letters of recommendation are required. For the engineering tracks, letters of recommendation are optional.
5. Attend OrientationsIf admitted, you must attend mandatory School of Public Health orientation sessions before the start of the program.
