
This Advanced Diploma focuses on the integration of robotics and mechatronics technologies within engineering. It equips students with the latest skills in remote engineering and mechatronics, providing practical guidance from industry experts. The program aims to enhance career prospects and income by preparing graduates for the evolving demands of the engineering field. Upon completion, students will understand contemporary issues in robotics and mechatronics, be able to apply electrotechnology knowledge to key components, and design and program robotic systems.
The program consists of 10 modules and 7 units of competency designed to provide comprehensive practical coverage in remote engineering, mechatronics, and robotics. The curriculum integrates electrical/electronic systems, mechanical systems, computers, and control systems.
Graduates will be equipped to contribute to the competitiveness of robotics and mechatronics engineering industries by applying the latest technologies, adding value to existing products and processes, and developing innovative solutions.
Applicants must also have at least 2 years of work experience in a related field, OR at least 4 years of work experience in a related field (subject to credit to entry acceptance). Applications are considered on a case-by-case basis.

This qualification is accredited within the Australian Qualifications Framework by the Training Accreditation Council (TAC). EIT is approved by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) for delivery in all Australian states. This program is delivered to students worldwide.
