
This accelerated program is designed for graduates with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or an equivalent degree. You will gain in-depth knowledge of core courses within Chemical Production and Power Engineering Technology, focusing on the complex technologies used in modern processing industries. The program utilizes Lambton College's Centre of Excellence in Energy & Bio-Industrial Technologies, featuring advanced labs and pilot plant facilities that replicate real-world manufacturing environments. This hands-on experience prepares you for industry challenges and research in next-generation technologies. This program specifically prepares you to write the TSSA 4A and 4B 4th Class Operating Engineers Certification exams, a valuable industry-recognized qualification. Upon completing the first two academic terms, you are eligible to apply for a nine-month practical steam time reduction towards your 4th Class Operating Engineers Certificate directly with the TSSA. Please note that TSSA eligibility requirements and fees are separate from program fees.
