Advanced Professional Practice (Critical Care) PgCert, PgDip and MSc

This advanced practice programme in critical care is designed for nurses and allied health professionals who care for critically ill patients. It aims to provide a strong academic foundation to advance your career as an advanced clinician. You will develop advanced assessment and clinical reasoning skills for the acute management and rehabilitation of critically ill patients, from intensive care units through to their discharge. The course covers comprehensive knowledge of critical care, enabling you to work at an advanced level of practice by integrating the latest practices, policies, and research to improve patient care and outcomes.

Curriculum

The course can be studied as a Postgraduate Certificate (PgCert), Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip), or Master of Science (MSc). The MSc is typically completed in one year full-time or three years part-time. Modules are subject to change.
