This online postgraduate program focuses on developing your knowledge and skills in radiation therapy treatment planning. You will gain in-depth, evidence-based understanding of radiotherapy patient management, learn to critically evaluate your practice, and explore opportunities for service improvement within your workplace. The flexible online format allows you to study without needing to attend campus, offering interactive webinars, online discussions with peers and academics, and access to learning resources from clinical experts. It's designed for radiation therapy professionals looking to advance their careers into specialized techniques, treatment planning, or research.
The program offers two entry points: a Postgraduate Certificate (P.Grad.Cert.) or a Postgraduate Diploma (P.Grad.Dip.), both of which can lead to an M.Sc. degree. The P.Grad.Cert. is completed over one academic year and comprises three online modules. Upon successful completion of the P.Grad.Cert., you can choose to continue for the P.Grad.Dip. by completing three additional modules, also over one academic year. The P.Grad.Dip. can then serve as a pathway to an M.Sc. by completing a research dissertation in a further year.
Graduates are equipped to advance their careers within radiation therapy, taking on more specialized roles in advanced techniques, treatment planning, or research.
Applicants must have access to radiation therapy planning software for the duration of the course and provide evidence of relevant professional experience.
