Entry requirements
First cycle degree (e.g., Bachelor's)Must be in Animal Science, Agricultural Science, or a similar field, requiring at least 3 years of university education. Specific admission requirements and demonstration of solid academic preparation in agriculture, livestock production systems, plant and animal productions, and agricultural economics are necessary. Applicants should have obtained at least 60 ECTS credits in specified core and specialized training activities, covering areas like physics, informatics, mathematics, economics, veterinary anatomy, botany, zoology, ecology, chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, and experimental biology. A further 40 ECTS are required in subjects such as veterinary physiology, pathology, food inspection, infectious diseases, parasitology, pharmacology, toxicology, agricultural economics, agronomy, genetics, machinery, rural buildings, entomology, agricultural chemistry, food science, microbiology, livestock systems, animal nutrition, animal science, aquaculture, poultry, and rabbit science. An interview (in-person or web) will assess the candidate's personal preparation and knowledge in livestock and crop production, including anatomy, physiology, nutrition, genetics, and forage production. A CGPA ratio lower than 0.8 will lead to automatic exclusion.
