This Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Arctic Nursing) program, a collaboration between Dalhousie University and Nunavut Arctic College, is specifically designed to prepare nurses for the unique healthcare needs of Arctic communities. Entry requirements
Grade 12 DiplomaCompletion of secondary school with a 70% overall average. Credits required in Math, Science, and English with a minimum of 70% in these subject areas.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and a resident of Nunavut for at least one year. Admission is competitive and priority is given to eligible beneficiaries of the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement and graduates from Nunavut Secondary Schools. The Pre-Health Program at Arctic College is an option for students needing to complete prerequisites.
