Art—B.A. Fine Arts and Crafts

The Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts and Crafts program focused on fostering students' ability to invent and fabricate unique, hand-crafted objects. It explored a range of traditional and contemporary technologies, challenging students to engage in meaningful artistic inquiry through their practice. The degree emphasized problem-solving and self-expression within a liberal arts framework, aiming to deepen students' understanding of the world and its people. This program is no longer admitting new students.

Curriculum

The program requires a total of 58 credit hours. Students must complete foundation courses, art history, required studio courses in Fine Arts & Crafts (FA&C), FA&C studio electives, non-FA&C electives, and a senior portfolio preparation course. A minimum of 16 Art credits at the 300-level or above is required.
