
This Bachelor's program combines accounting principles with information system technology. It's designed to meet the requirements of professional accounting bodies in Malaysia and align with international standards. The curriculum is regularly updated to ensure graduates have the latest knowledge and skills in both accounting and IT, enabling them to apply this expertise ethically and professionally in the workplace.
The program requires a total of 136 credit hours, divided into University Core, English Core, Programme Core, and Programme Elective components.
Graduates of this program are prepared for various roles in accounting and business, equipped with specific knowledge in accounting and essential information technology skills. The program aims to produce professional accountants capable of applying theory to practice and solving complex business and accounting issues.
All applicants must not have hearing/visual/speech/physical/mental/multiple disabilities that hinder movement or learning.
International student fees do not include registration fees and a personal bond (refundable) ranging from RM200 to RM2,000, payable upon registration.
Recognised by Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), MICPA, ACCA (UK), CIMA (UK), CPA (Australia), and NIA (Australia).
The program has a duration of 7 semesters, which also includes a 4-month industrial training component, totaling 136 credit hours.
International students pay RM5,000 per semester. This fee does not include registration fees or a personal bond (RM200 to RM2,000) which is refundable upon registration.
All applicants must achieve a minimum MUET Band 3.5 (or Band 3 for examinations taken in 2020 and prior).
