The Bachelor of Arts is designed to help you discover your passions, shape your future, and develop into a well-rounded global citizen. This degree equips you to understand complex social dynamics and create meaningful change in your local and international communities. Through choosing one or two major areas of study, and engaging in work-integrated and community-based learning, you will learn to identify community challenges and develop strategies to address them. You will cultivate essential analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills, forming a strong foundation for a future in social and community leadership.
Curriculum
This 360 credit point degree requires students to complete at least one Arts Major. You can choose from English, History, Human Behaviour, Media and Cultural Studies, Politics and International Relations, or Sociology. You may also complete a second Arts Major or an Arts Minor. The remaining credit points can be fulfilled with any Arts Minor, General Minor, or elective units from the School of Arts and Humanities or other schools. For students completing two Arts Majors, there are two capstone units.
