The Monash Bachelor of Arts is designed to provide students with intellectual flexibility and a wide range of choices. You can select from over thirty areas of study to tailor a unique learning experience. The program emphasizes enriching experiences like internships, professional engagements, entrepreneurial opportunities, and global immersion programs. This approach helps you build a distinctive graduate profile, preparing you for complex and culturally diverse work environments. You will also have the option to pursue further studies, including honours or postgraduate programs. The Bachelor of Arts incorporates four 'Professional Futures' domains focused on developing skills highly valued by employers: Global Immersion, Intercultural Expertise, Professional Experience, and Innovation Capability. Entry requirements
Completion of 144 credit pointsMinimum 96 credit points in Arts listed study (Parts A & B) and 48 credit points in Part C (free electives). A maximum of 60 credit points at Level 1 and a minimum of 36 credit points at Level 3 (of which at least 24 must be Arts units). Units are generally 6 credit points.
Major Study RequirementsMinimum 48 credit points in a chosen major, including a maximum of 12 credit points at Level 1 and a minimum of 18 credit points at Level 3.
Economics Major PrerequisiteEquivalent of VCE Year 12 Higher level Maths, or completion of ECC1550 or MTH1010.
European Languages Extended MajorEntry level 2 intermediate in at least one of two language options.
Psychology Extended MajorOffered in A2000 Bachelor of Arts and S2006 Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts. APAC accredited level 1 sequence.
