This dual degree program allows you to gain a comprehensive understanding of global political dynamics while earning both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of International Relations. You'll develop expertise in international relations (IR) through your arts major and complement it with a chosen major or electives from over 30 available disciplines. The master's component delves into key areas like global governance, United Nations operations, IR theory, and contemporary international politics, security, and strategy. Curriculum
To complete the Bachelor of Arts/Master of International Relations, you must pass 36 credit points. This includes a compulsory 0-credit point unit on academic integrity and respect, 24 credit points from the Bachelor of Arts component, and 12 credit points from the Master of International Relations component. Students must achieve a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60 after completing 24 credit points to progress to the Master's level. An alternative exit is available with the Bachelor of Arts if the master's entry requirements are not met.
