The Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours (BFA Hons) program is designed to help you develop your unique creative voice and produce art that provokes thought and emotion. You will spend a significant portion of your study time in the studio, exploring various art-making methods and contemporary art production. The program is not limited to specific media, allowing you to work across disciplines like sculpture, painting, drawing, performance, installation, moving image, photography, printmaking, and more. You will learn alongside students from different creative disciplines and year levels, fostering a collaborative environment. The curriculum combines hands-on art-making with a strong foundation in art theory, supported by experienced artists. Curriculum
The program structure involves mixed studio classes in the first year with design students. From the second year onwards, BFA students work together in art studio classes under the guidance of two art lecturers.
