This one-year honours degree is designed for graduates who have already completed a three-year psychology degree. It serves as a crucial fourth year of study, enabling you to apply for provisional registration as a practising psychologist, and is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC). An honours year not only fulfills registration requirements but also significantly enhances your competitive edge in the job market. Throughout this program, you will engage in a substantial research project, culminating in advanced written work. This will demonstrate your ability to critically analyse and synthesise information, tackle complex problems, and effectively communicate your findings through various formats, including oral presentations. Entry requirements
Completed three-year APAC-accredited psychology degreeCompleted within the last 10 years, or currently enrolled in the final year, with at least a credit average in 200 and 300 level psychology subjects.
Overseas qualificationRequires an APS Assessment of your qualification to be submitted with the application.
