The Bachelor of Social Science is designed for students who want to understand and address complex social issues. You will learn to identify societal problems and develop strategies for social justice and positive change. The program explores how practices, policies, and structures can contribute to social disadvantage and injustice, equipping you with the knowledge to tackle these challenges on local and global scales. With increasing technological, economic, and social shifts, there is a growing need for social scientists who can adapt and innovate. This degree focuses on embedding Indigenous knowledge, examining social inequalities that affect individual and community well-being, and providing career-ready experiences to prepare you for the evolving world of work. From 2027, you'll have the opportunity to complete a major in Social Science alongside a second major from a broad General Schedule of Majors.

Australian Year 12 or equivalentSuccessful completion of Year 12 or equivalent, with a required ATAR of 70 (or equivalent score).
