The Bachelor of Youth Work program prepares students to support young people aged 12-26. You will gain essential interpersonal and helping skills, learn about inclusive practices, and develop strategies for social change. The curriculum includes specialist youth work units and allows for complementary studies in areas such as psychology, human services, community development, counselling, and criminology, tailoring the degree to your career aspirations.
Curriculum
The course structure requires students to complete 15 core units (240 credit points) and 8 elective units (120 credit points). Students can also choose a combination of minors or elective units from the School of Arts and Humanities or other schools.
