Trinity Western University's Biblical Studies program offers students the opportunity to explore Jewish and Christian Scriptures from historical, theological, and cultural perspectives. This program aims to provide a deep understanding of how these texts have shaped past and present faith communities. Students will engage with scholarly discussions and develop skills to communicate their ideas professionally and persuasively. The program is led by a dedicated faculty of active scholars within the Department of Biblical and Theological Studies. Students are encouraged to broaden their understanding of Scripture and to critically examine current issues within the field. As students progress, they gain a comprehensive grasp of biblical texts and learn to contribute to scholarly conversations.
