For Havo/Vwo students who do not meet the entry requirements, preparatory courses and entrance exams for Mathematics and Chemistry are offered. A free summer course is available two weeks before the exams. Students lacking Biology and Chemistry will take 'bridging courses' in the first year. Mbo level 4 diploma holders without Mathematics and Chemistry are expected to follow the summer course and take the entrance exams, with an exception for 'Environmental Researcher' diploma holders. All Mbo level 4 students, except those with an 'Environmental Researcher' diploma, must take bridging courses in Biology and Chemistry in the first year.
