This program offers a unique pathway to a BSc (Hons) Data Science degree, combining your first year of study at a dedicated International Study Centre with direct progression to Year 2 of the University of Exeter's degree. This integrated three-year plan allows you to complete your entire study journey with a single CAS and visa. The first year provides a supportive environment with smaller class sizes, focusing on developing fundamental skills in AI, cybersecurity, data science, machine learning, and software engineering, preparing you for advanced study. You will study similar content to first-year university students, and some modules will be taken alongside University of Exeter students. Upon successful completion of the International Year One and meeting progression requirements, you are guaranteed entry into the second year of the BSc Data Science program at the University of Exeter. This pathway is designed to save you time and money by avoiding the need to return home before graduating.
The International Year One program is structured over three terms, followed by two years of the degree. The first year focuses on building foundational knowledge and skills essential for data science and related fields.
