This program offers a three-year pathway to a BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Finance. It is designed for international students who may not meet the direct entry requirements for a standard undergraduate degree. The first year is a preparatory 'International Year One' conducted at the University of Exeter International Study Centre, located on the main university campus. During this year, you will receive tailored academic and English language support, and some lectures will be attended alongside University of Exeter students. Successful completion of the International Year One, meeting academic and English language progression requirements, allows direct entry into the second year of the BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance degree at the University of Exeter.
The program is structured as a three-term pathway year followed by two years of the undergraduate degree. The pathway year comprises 120 credits across various modules designed to prepare you for university-level study in Accounting and Finance. Modules listed are indicative for the 2025/26 academic year and may change.
Graduates are well-prepared for a range of careers in accounting and finance, supported by strong graduate prospects. The program emphasizes gaining industry experience.
Applicants must be at least 16 years old, and will turn 17 by 31 August of their academic year of study. Entry requirements may be subject to change.
Additional compulsory fees include: Enrolment fee (£275), Textbooks (£270-£365), Studio or lab fee (£575). The prices listed are for Year 1 of study only. Students confirming offers by 30 November 2026 will pay the 2026/2027 price.
The BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance degree itself is accredited by relevant professional accounting bodies, allowing for potential exemptions upon graduation.
