This BSc Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) programme delves into fundamental philosophical questions, analyzes how individuals and groups define political ideas, and examines economic challenges and change. Unlike many other PPE degrees, students will study all three subjects for the entire duration of the program. In the final year, students will undertake independent research and collaborate with external organizations on an innovative Capstone project. IB Diploma39 points overall, with 766 in higher level subjects, including 7 in higher level Mathematics. 38 points overall, with 766 in higher level subjects, including 7 in higher level Mathematics for contextual offers.
Mathematics at A-level (or equivalent) is essential. A broad mix of traditional academic subjects is recommended, with at least two full A-levels (or equivalents) in these subjects. GCSE English Language and Mathematics are required at grade B (6) or higher. For overseas qualifications, please check the country-specific equivalencies. Further Mathematics is not required but is helpful preparation. An A* in Mathematics A-level is standard, but an A* in Further Mathematics and an A in Mathematics is acceptable.
