The Business Honors program at Mays Business School is designed for high-achieving students who aim for academic excellence and leadership development. This program allows students to pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Business Honors, and also offers the flexibility to double major in various business fields such as Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing, and Supply Chain Management. The curriculum is structured to enable completion of both majors within a standard four-year timeframe. The program emphasizes personalized support, professional development through numerous events, and fosters a strong network among its students.

Entry requirements
High School Class RankRank in the top 25% of your high school class. Eligibility for homeschool or unranked schools will be determined by the TAMU Office of Admissions.
Admitted to Mays Business SchoolMust be admitted to Mays Business School with Business Administration as the first-choice major.
Selection for Business Honors is highly competitive and separate from university admission. While SAT/ACT scores are encouraged and priority review is given to applicants with scores on file, they are not required for consideration. Co-curricular involvement, leadership skills, teamwork, and demonstrated success in high school are heavily weighted. Letters of recommendation from academic sources are highly recommended and must be submitted through the Office of Admissions. All application materials, including extracurricular activities, should be submitted through the Apply Texas or Common Application.

How to apply
1. Submit University ApplicationComplete the Apply Texas Application or Common Application for Texas A&M University. Applications open August 1 and must be submitted by December 1. Late applications are not accepted.
2. Indicate Honors Program InterestSelect 'Business Administration' (Business) as your first-choice major and answer 'YES' to the Honors Programs Question on your application.
3. Consideration for Business HonorsIf you did not select 'YES' to the Honors Programs Question or changed your major to Business after submission, email honors@mays.tamu.edu with your full name and UIN by December 1 to be considered.
4. Submit Supporting DocumentsUpload transcripts, SAT/ACT scores (optional but recommended for priority review), and letters of recommendation (highly recommended, from academic sources) via the Applicant Information System or mail to the Office of Admissions. Do not send additional documents directly to the Business Honors office.
5. Review ApplicationThe Business Honors selection is competitive and separate from university admissions. Decisions are mailed by February 15 and are final.
