The Capacité en droit is a two-year program designed to provide foundational legal knowledge. It is particularly suited for individuals who do not hold a baccalaureate but wish to pursue higher education in law or enter certain administrative roles. The program offers flexible study modes, allowing students to attend evening classes in person or study independently using online materials. Some evening lectures are also broadcast live online for remote access. Students can choose to complete the program in one or two years. An early assessment in October helps students decide which study pace is best for them. The first year focuses on Public Law, Civil Procedure, and Family Law, alongside introductions to Objective and Subjective Law. The second year covers Obligations, Criminal Law and Procedure, Administrative Law, Commercial Law, and Labor Law. All examinations must be taken in person at the faculty.
Curriculum
The Capacité en droit can be completed over one or two years. Students choose their study duration when registering for exams. The program begins with an intensive introductory period in early September, including lectures and online tutorials, culminating in exams in October. Based on these results, students can opt for a one-year or two-year study plan.

How to apply
1. Submit Electronic Application (for new students)Apply electronically via the E-Candidat platform between June 15th and September 19th. Ensure you meet the age requirement (over 17 by December 31st of the enrollment year). If your application is approved, you will receive a favorable opinion from the school administration.
