This Bachelor's program focuses on the diverse languages and cultures of Central and Eastern Europe, with a specialization in Russian Studies. Entry qualification documents must be submitted in English or Lithuanian. If not, official translations with verified copies are required. Native speakers or those whose previous studies were in English are exempt from English language tests. Application fee is 100 EUR per application, payable via Flywire and is non-refundable. Tuition fees for non-state-funded places must be paid within 15 calendar days of accepting the offer.
How to apply
1. Find Your ProgrammeSelect up to three study programs that match your interests and career goals.
2. Check Application DatesApplication periods are from May 1 (non-EU/EFTA) or July 1 (EU/EFTA and visa-exempt non-EU/EFTA). The academic year begins September 1. There is one intake per year.
3. Check Eligibility and Prepare DocumentsEnsure you meet general, program-specific, and language requirements. For non-EU/EFTA, the gap since secondary education must not exceed 5 years. Documents can be in English or Lithuanian; otherwise, official translations are needed.
4. Submit Application and Pay FeeApply via apply.vu.lt and pay the non-refundable 100 EUR application fee through Flywire. All documents must be submitted by the deadline.
5. Confirm Acceptance and Pay TuitionApplications are assessed within 30 days. Accept the offer within 7 working days. Tuition fees for non-state-funded places are due within 15 calendar days of the offer.
6. Arrange ArrivalApply for visa/residence permit if needed. Dormitory applications open after tuition payment. Information on starting studies and arrival logistics will be provided.
