Curriculum
To be awarded the CPC40920 Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services, students must complete 15 units, comprising 10 core units and 5 elective units. Victoria University offers a specialisation in Operations, requiring at least one elective from Group B and the remaining four from Group A or B. Up to two units can be replaced by equivalent units from other training packages at Certificate IV level or above.

Entry requirements
Existing Plumber or ApprenticeHold Certificate III in Plumbing or be authorised to undertake plumbing work by an Australian regulator/licensing body.
Applicants must complete a Pre-training Review (PTR) and a Literacy and Numeracy assessment. Meeting minimum admission criteria does not guarantee entry; past academic performance and other relevant experience may be considered. Special admission programs may be available for disadvantaged or underrepresented backgrounds, and a VU Early Entry program is offered for Year 11/12 students.
