This joint honours degree allows you to explore your interests in Communication, Media, and Culture alongside International Relations. You will build a strong foundation in both subjects, developing a range of personal and professional skills that will prepare you for your future career. The program is designed to progressively enhance your knowledge and skills, fostering you to become an independent and effective learner. Communication, Media and Culture delves into the interpersonal connections between individuals, groups, and organisations. It examines how identities are shaped through new media and social interaction, as well as through methods like persuasion, propaganda, journalism, and branding. International Relations focuses on global politics, exploring issues such as nationalism, global justice, security, migration, and climate change.

Fees
Tuition (international)International full-time fees for 2026/27 are £17,250 and for 2027/28 are £18,500. Fees may increase in subsequent years.
Tuition (home)Home full-time fees for 2026/27 are £9,790 and for 2027/28 are £10,050. Fees may increase in subsequent years.
Living—
Tuition fees are subject to annual increases for both new and continuing students. For Home students, increases may align with government-determined inflationary amounts. For International students, fee increases will consider inflationary measures, University costs, government funding changes, and admissions statistics.
