This BA (Hons) degree in Communication, Media and Culture provides a pathway into the media and cultural industries, focusing on how social justice intersects with culture, power, and representation. An alumni-led Industry Expert Advisory Board contributes to keeping the course current and offers networking opportunities in your third year.
The program includes a foundation year followed by three years of degree-level study, with an option for a work placement year. Teaching involves lectures, workshops, seminars, tutorials, and online methods, with approximately 7 hours of contact time per week and an expected annual workload of 1,200 hours. Assessments are entirely coursework-based.
