
The Master of Science program in Computer Science and Systems Engineering is designed for students who hold a relevant undergraduate degree and wish to deepen their knowledge and skills in this field. Offered by the Faculty of Information, Media and Electrical Engineering, this full-time program provides an advanced understanding of computer science and systems engineering principles. The program aims to equip students with the expertise necessary to excel in complex technological environments.
The program spans three semesters and awards 90 ECTS credits. While detailed module information is primarily available in German, the curriculum focuses on advanced topics within computer science and systems engineering, allowing students to build upon their undergraduate foundation.
Proficiency in German is also required, verified by graduation from a German secondary school or a language certificate equivalent to DSH – level 2 or better. Note that while the program lists both German and English as languages of instruction, a strong German proficiency is a prerequisite.
All students are subject to a semester contribution fee, which covers services like the student union and public transport. The exact amount varies per semester.
