This course is an introduction to the fundamentals of creative writing, suitable for beginners or those seeking to refresh their skills. Through a combination of writing exercises, assigned readings, and group discussions, students will explore various literary genres, including poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, memoir, and journalistic prose. The aim is to develop a consistent writing practice, enhance creative expression, practice effective revision techniques, and become a more perceptive reader of literature. Optional live sessions may be offered.
