Cyberspace Operations MSc

The Cyberspace Operations MSc is designed for military and government personnel involved in supporting operations within the cyberspace domain. It focuses on understanding and responding to current and emerging threats in the information environment from a military perspective. The course evaluates contemporary military doctrine and planning procedures, considering the impact of cyber operations on control systems, leadership, and decision-making in command and control settings. While technical knowledge is beneficial, the program is structured to accommodate students from diverse backgrounds, emphasizing the integration of various roles for effective and cohesive operations. Upon completion, graduates will be equipped to support military manoeuvre in cyberspace, particularly in contested operations and integrated planning scenarios.

Curriculum

The course consists of a taught component with twelve 10-credit modules and an MSc dissertation. It is delivered through a flexible blend of compulsory residential courses, online activities via a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), and project-based learning.
