The Diploma in Information Technology is designed for students with no prior computing knowledge who aim for careers in computer-based fields, especially in programming and information systems. This 2.5-year program provides a comprehensive curriculum covering essential IT subjects like programming, databases, multimedia, and networks. It also includes non-IT courses such as marketing, business communication, and problem-solving to equip students with transferable skills for independent and team-based work. Candidates without a credit in SPM Mathematics or equivalent may be required to take a bridging Mathematics course. The international tuition fees are RM 71,604 without a bridging course and RM 73,745 with a bridging course. Please note these are estimates and a 6% service tax will be imposed on non-Malaysian citizens effective July 1, 2025.

Applicants need at least 3 credits in any subjects at SPM level, including Mathematics, or equivalent qualifications such as STPM, STAM, SKM Level 3, or a relevant Certificate (Level 3, MQF) with a CGPA of 2.00.
International applicants need a minimum score of 4.0 in IELTS Academic, 30-31 in TOEFL iBT, 140 in Cambridge Linguaskill, 36 in Pearson Test of English, or Band 2 in MUET. Applicants who do not meet these may need to take foundation English courses.
You can apply by completing the online registration form on UCSI University's Application Portal, submitting certified copies of your examination results and other required documents, and paying a registration fee of RM 400.
