
The Leadership Studies Ed.D. program at Xavier University combines established leadership theories with practical skills to equip you to lead and develop leadership capacity within organizations and communities. This rigorous, interdisciplinary doctoral program is open to students holding a master's degree in any field. It delves into traditional and emerging leadership approaches, change management, organizational culture and ethics, leadership development, and the psychological and sociological factors influencing effectiveness. No prior leadership coursework is required. Graduates are prepared to facilitate ethical, reflective, and meaningful change in their professional spheres.

Tuition is per credit hour. Amounts listed are for the 2026-2027 academic year. Additional fees include a Student ID Fee ($15) and Graduate Student Association Fees ($10-$15 per semester).
