The Doctor of Management (D.Mgmt.) program at Universiti Utara Malaysia is a research-intensive degree designed for industry professionals. It aims to develop graduates into scholars and researchers capable of contributing new knowledge to their specific fields. Students undertake independent research culminating in a thesis. Curriculum
The D.Mgmt. program is primarily research-focused. Students must complete two prerequisite courses in their first two trimesters before defending their thesis proposal. Graduation requires presenting and defending a research proposal, progressing through colloquiums, and producing publishable research output.
