The University of Luxembourg is offering a funded doctoral researcher position within the Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences (FHSE). This PhD project, provisionally titled 'Luxembourg-Brussels, aller-retour. Correspondence, mobility and discourse in the government of a strategic periphery of the Spanish Netherlands (16th-17th c.)', is part of the FNR-funded CORE project GOVLU. The successful candidate will conduct research under the supervision of a Principal Investigator and contribute to the project's objectives concerning the governance and communication strategies within the Duchy of Luxembourg during the Habsburg Spain period.
