1. Find Your ProgrammeEnsure the program aligns with your interests, career goals, and that you meet the general and program-specific admission requirements. You can apply for up to three programs in one application.
2. Check Application DatesFor international applicants, the application period for the September intake typically ends on May 1 for non-EU/EFTA countries and July 1 for EU/EFTA citizens. The academic year begins on September 1.
3. Check Eligibility and Prepare DocumentsVerify you meet all academic, English language, and any country-specific requirements. Prepare verified copies of your undergraduate diploma and other required documents. For non-EU/EFTA applicants, ensure no more than five years have passed since your Bachelor's degree completion.
4. Pay Application Fee and Submit ApplicationSubmit your application online via apply.vu.lt and pay the non-refundable 100 EUR application fee through the Flywire platform. All required documents must be submitted before the application deadline.
5. Attend InterviewIf your application meets the program's criteria and motivation, you will be invited for an interview with the Admissions Committee.
6. Confirm Acceptance and Pay Tuition FeeUpon assessment (within 30 days), you will receive an acceptance or rejection notification. If accepted, you must confirm your acceptance within 7 working days. Non-EU/EFTA students admitted to non-state-funded places must pay the annual tuition fee within 15 calendar days of the offer.
7. Arrange ArrivalAfter tuition payment, you will receive a final acceptance letter. Vilnius University's International Relations Office will assist with information for obtaining a temporary residence permit (for non-EU citizens). You may also apply for dormitory accommodation after tuition payment and can arrange your visa/residence permit and arrival in Vilnius.
