Environmental Science and Engineering

This integrated five-year program combines undergraduate and postgraduate study, leading to either a Master's in Engineering (M.A.I. (St.)) or a Master's in Applied Environmental Science (M.A.E.S.). It is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills to develop solutions for environmental challenges, promote biodiversity, and foster sustainable resource use. The curriculum integrates natural sciences and engineering principles, with a strong emphasis on practical laboratory and field skills, teamwork, and problem-solving. Delivered by Trinity's School of Natural Sciences and School of Engineering, the course offers a unique interdisciplinary approach to environmental issues.

Curriculum

The first three years provide a balanced foundation in environmental science and engineering. Following this, students specialize in either Environmental Engineering or Applied Environmental Science, with shared modules and projects. Year 4 offers an industry internship, international exchange, or a Capstone Project. An additional year of study leads to the Master's degree.
