The Executive Master of Public Policy (EMPP) is a specialized master's degree designed to equip senior and high-potential civil servants with advanced analytical skills for effective policy development in a complex global landscape. Building on LSE's established expertise in public policy, this program shares a curriculum with the Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA), fostering collaboration with leading LSE scholars from departments like Economics and Government. The EMPP is the first program of its kind commissioned by a cross-government policy community in the UK. It aims to develop individuals capable of reaching the highest levels of the Civil Service Policy Profession, preparing them to lead on significant public policy challenges and champion modern policy approaches.
